Roy Mutandwa is an experienced Evaluator, Social Scientist, Researcher, Participatory M&E specialist, with more than 10 years professional experience. He has served as Team Leader/Lead Evaluator for several large scale impact studies and evaluations, including supervision of field enumerators/survey teams, logistics management, and budget tracking. His field experience includes impact studies, midterm and final program evaluations, and performance management assessments. Mr. Mutandwa’s quantitative and qualitative experience includes data collection, data cleaning, and quantitative analysis using Epi Info. He also has formal training and strong field experience in qualitative methodologies that includes survey design and implementation, participatory methodologies, structured interviews, focus group facilitation, and outcome mapping. His sector experience includes health systems, water and sanitation, HIV/AIDS, Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission (PMTC), gender, microenterprise, and education. Mr. Mutandwa has worked with and managed numerous evaluation projects funded by USAID, DFID, European Union, SNV and others. His evaluation clients have included USAID contractors including Social Impact Inc., and numerous NGOs such as UNICEF, CAFOD, World Wildlife Nature Fund, and Doctors Without Borders, among others. Mr. Mutandwa’s other skills and experience also includes operations research and documentation, Baseline and Endline Surveys, results based management, and log frame formulation.
