Paola Fabbri began her career in the development and humanitarian aid sectors in 1999. She worked in many conflict-affected countries including Serbia, Sri Lanka, Haiti, Uganda and Republic of South Sudan. She has worked for UN agencies, private sector and INGO.
With more than eight years of experience in the management of development projects, she has a sound knowledge of Project Cycle Management and Monitoring and Evaluation. She has directly managed and supervised the implementation of projects funded by EU, UN, USAID and other institutional donors.
She has conducted internal evaluations, supervised the set up of monitoring and evaluation systems and provided technical assistance for M&E to INGO and Consulting companies. She is an IPDET graduate from Carleton University of Ottawa and member of International Development Evaluation Association (IDEAS)

Over the years, she has been involved in capacity building programs, designed and delivered training and workshops for various organisations including UN, INGO and Consultancies Companies. She has delivered and organised training on participatory methodologies, project cycle management, environmental awareness and solid waste management.

She has conducted field research in Serbia, Sri Lanka and Haiti and has authored and co-authored articles published by ALNAP, the journal "Scienza e Pace" of the University of Pisa and the "Osservatorio sui Balcani" study centre.
