Description

This course provides a good introduction to the concepts and lessons of Do No Harm (DNH) and Reflecting on Peace Practice (RPP). This training was created in response to demand for a course that combines elements of both CDA's conflict sensitivity and peacebuilding programs. It offers practical, applicable tools and processes for all program types. This course will prepare you to analyze the contexts in which you work, identify entry points for programs, establish robust program goals, examine the impacts of programs on contexts of conflict, and develop strategies for creating significant, positive, and lasting changes in the societies where your programs operate.

The application deadline is 15 of April 2015, and admission decisions will be announced thereafter. To apply for this course, please submit together in one email: a one-page cover letter, a current resume or curriculum vitae and a completed application form. Applications and questions regarding the course can be directed to Jasmine Walovitch at jfreehoff@cdacollaborative.org with a copy to Eva Lopez Amat at bcncentrepau@bcn.cat.

Please note that participants in need of a visa to visit Spain are encouraged to submit the course application forms as early as possible as the visa application process can take some time.
