Social Impact (SI) is a Washington, DC-area international development management consulting firm. SI’s clients include US government agencies such as USAID, the Millennium Challenge Corporation, the US Department of State, bilateral donors, multilateral development banks, foundations, and non-profits.

Proposal Objective:

The purpose of the anticipated five-year multi-million dollar contract is to provide the USAID AFR Bureau in DC and Sub-Saharan Africa with short and long-term technical assistance for assessments, analysis, strategy development, program design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, communications, knowledge management, conferences and seminars.

Position Description:

SI is seeking to recruit a roster of technical and administrative short-term technical experts to provide AFR with on-demand, as-requested, specialized and customized assistance over the duration of the contract. Work will entail a suite of administrative support, operations/logistics, technical and sectoral expertise, monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and knowledge management services.

The work will be conducted either in Washington, DC or in Sub-Saharan Africa, and scopes of work with details on level of experience, requirements, and responsibilities will emerge on an as-needed basis. Preference given to applicants who have Secret or Top Secret security clearance levels, as well as experience delivering technical assistance to AFR or other USAID bureaus.
